CTE PATHWAY COMPLETER

The California Department of Education defines a CTE completer as "CTE concentrators who passed (with a C- or better) an end-of-program technical skill assessment (capstone course) that is aligned with industry-recognized standards, including the California CTE Model Curriculum Standards, during the reporting year."

The Yuba City Unified School District offers classes in many career and technical education program areas including Agriculture Mechanics, Ornamental Horticulture, Agricultural Business, Agriscience, Animal Science, Patient Care: Sports Medicine, Patient Care: Nursing Assistant, Financial Services, Entrepreneurship, Film/Video Production, Games and Simulation, Design, Visual and Media Arts: Digital Photography, Design, Visual and Media Arts: Publication Design, Residential and Commercial Construction, Education, Engineering Design, Food Services and Hospitality, Software and Systems Development, Networking, Systems Diagnostics, Service, and Repair, Fashion Design and Merchandising, and Public Safety under its open admissions policy.
