Enrollment registration for TK and K opens on March 15, 2024.

This fall the Governor approved a plan to expand transitional kindergarten over the next four years.  The primary reason is that this program has proven to be very effective in preparing students for kindergarten.  The goal is that by school year 25/26, all four-year-old children in the state will be a part of the TK-12 school system.  Currently, transitional kindergarten is for students whose fifth birthday falls between September and December. 

 

We have set a plan for providing locations, space, and staffing to welcome these new students.  See the four-year rollout below.

2022-2023	Turns 5 between Sept 2 – Feb 2
2023-2024	Turns 5 between Sept 2 – Apr 2
2024-2025	Turns 5 between Sept 2 – June 2
2025-2026	Turns 4 by Sept 1
