Welcome to Yuba City Unified School District

The Yuba City Unified School District incorporates over 215 square miles in Sutter County, California, and provides quality educational services to nearly 13,000 students K-12. The seventeen schools offer K-5, K-8, 6-8, and 9-12 configurations along with an alternative high school and independent study programs. A center for child development programs is available as well. Yuba City is located 45 miles north of Sacramento in the lush Central Valley near the Sutter Buttes, the nation’s smallest mountain range. Several recreational areas, historic landmarks, metropolitan shopping, cultural centers, the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Pacific Ocean are within a 1-3 hour drive. The University of California at Davis and California State Universities at Chico and Sacramento are all within 50 miles.
