Driving Program for Private and District Vehicles for School Business

Instructions for DMV Pull Notice Program for Private and District Vehicles

Instructions for DMV Pull Notice Program for Private and District Vehicles

District policy requires that anyone transporting students to and/or from an activity or event to enroll in the DMV Pull Notice Program.  Transporation will submit the request for the applicant's driving record from the DMV Pull Notice Program once the applicant's authorization is recieved in the application process. Transportation will  recieve notice from DMV regarding any activity on the driver's driving record to help maintain compliance of safe driving practices and policies. Eligible applicants must not have "2" or more points on their DMV driving record. Employees will remain enrolled in the CA Pull Notice Program until requested removal or no longer employed within the district.

A completed application must be on file at the YCUSD Transportation Dept. at least 14 days prior to driving to and/or from activity or event.  District vehicles are only to be driven by Full Time District employees (contracted for 2 hours or more) and authorized coaches.  All drivers must be enrolled/cleared in the above District Pull Notice Program.

Note - Contracted district employees who are hired and work 2hrs or more per day and do not experience a break in service will only need to enroll in the pull notice program once.
