Students are assigned to a YCUSD high school based on home address, you can verify the school assignment by looking at the school boundary map found here https://locator.decisioninsite.com/?StudyID=235042

 

The transfer request window to request a different high school other than the one assigned based on residency ends on January 1, 2022.  You can complete that request via your parent portal on Aeries. No transfer requests will be accepted after Jan 1. Additionally, once approved, transfer requests are final. Included here are informational packets to include elective classes offered at River Valley and Yuba City High School. These are provided for you and your student to review ahead of time. This information is also available on the high school's websites.  At the end of January, our High School counselors will be visiting the middle schools and meeting with students to create course request lists and answer questions. In the near future, you will be invited to Parent Nights to meet the High School counselors and ask your own questions as well.
