    Fall 2022 UPDATE
WEEKLY COVID TESTING FOR UNVACCINATED EMPLOYEES

    Dear YCUSD Employee:

The State Public Health Officer provided public schools with a public order on August 11, 2021.  The order requires schools to:
    • verify the vaccination status of all workers and
    • test (diagnostically screen) at least once weekly all asymptomatic unvaccinated, or incompletely vaccinated, workers

    Additional Testing Options:
    • Employees not using Covid Clinic/Campus Clinic may make arrangements with their site/department administrator to test using Binax (only if registered with Primary Health and results reported to Primary Health) or
    • using an at-home test kit (only if results are time and date stamped and submitted via the link below (link is also located on the District webpage in the YCUSD Employee Information section of the COVID-19 Dashboard)

**Please note: Staff who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days are exempt from this requirement until after the 90 day period is over. YCUSD monitors this testing window and staff who have tested positive are sent confirmation emails of the date their weekly testing is to resume if they remain unvaccinated.

    Rapid Antigen Testing

    Rapid Antigen Testing

YCUSD will support staff and students returning from isolation/quarantine with Day 5, or after, antigen testing through on-site BinaxNOW testing and results reporting via Primary Health. Information about Primary Health can be accessed at

    https://primary.health/

Employees may register with Primary Health, by clicking the link below:
    Primary Health Registration

Once registered, employees in need of antigen testing to exit isolation/quarantine may contact their site supervisor to schedule a time for onsite testing. A negative test result is required to end isolation/quarantine earlier than the 10-day exclusionary period.

*At-home tests/OTC are also acceptable for Day 5 and after testing.
