Invitation to Bid: Surplus Recycling

Notice is hereby given that the governing board (“Board”) of the Yuba City Unified School District (“District” or “Owner”) will receive bids for the following project (“Project” or “Contract”):  Surplus Recycling Purchase Bid

Bids may be sent via email to ssnyder@ycusd.org or sent through typical delivery methods.
 
Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m., March 27th, at the District Office, located 750 Palora Avenue, Yuba City, California 95991, at or after which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be non-responsive and returned to the bidder.
 
The Project consists of:
  • Bid for the purchase of YCUSD Surplus Items
  • Purchaser will be responsible for labor and materials for removal of surplus from sites and all shipping to recycling facilities
  • YCUSD reserves the right to not accept any bids lower than $20,000
 
The District’s Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) calendar days after the date of the bid opening.
 
The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the highest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only.
